About Katie

Dr. Katie Keene-Montgomery is an organizational anthropologist and Industrial/Organizational psychologist specializing in complex systems, workplace culture, and human behavior/peak performance. She holds a secular Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and a non-secular Ph.D. in Anthropology, along with a B.A. in Anthropology. Her research spans cultural intelligence (CQ), leader-member exchange (LMX), complex social systems, psychological contracts, and learning in multinational environments. She is also a published author and has amplified her research with an Executive Certificate in the Anthropology of Innovation and Technology.

Her scholarly interests focus on how social structures shape performance, decision-making, psychological safety, and organizational change, with particular attention to power dynamics, technological innovation, adult learning, and cross-cultural leadership. Drawing on both qualitative and systems-based approaches, her work bridges anthropology and organizational science to illuminate how institutional design influences individual experience.

Dr. Keene-Montgomery also brings extensive applied experience in enterprise learning and development, mentorship ecosystems, and organizational transformation, translating academic research into practical strategies for leaders and practitioners. She is an active speaker on complex systems, the impact of technology on societies, organizational culture, and performance.

She is available to deliver academic lectures, present at conferences, and participate in interdisciplinary panels to raise knowledge and awareness globally.
